Cursing, sex, alcohol... Oh my!

Ah, teens and our vices. While I only succumb to one, (cursing, and trying to tone it down a bit) these three things always seem to be at the forefront of teenage conversations, "He slept with her?  What a harlot.", "Dude, I got totally hammered at that party the other night.", "F**k you, you stupid b***h!", etc.  What's the appeal?  Please don't try and tell me it's because we can't do it, because we most obviously can.  Are you trying to fit in?  Why?  How much fun is it really?  I hear it on a daily basis, "Garrett you're so different."  I'm generally known by my last name as my moniker and when I do something "wierd" it's always just "me being me."  Now, I'm not 100% on this but isn't that how it's supposed to be?  Everyone as their own person?  Who knows, the teenage masses will travel together into all the trends they so desperately chase and will drone on through life this way.  Not me, or at least I won't try.  Be different. Be yourself.  Live an interesting life, you'll thank yourself when it's over ;-)
